Commercial clients need to adhere to the Electricity at Work regulations, which detail regular inspection and testing of electrical installations in a workplace because regularly monitoring the condition these systems helps maintain a safe working environment.

In reality, domestic clients are most likely to contact us when something happens with their equiipment or home circuits but it is important to remember that the wiring regulations BS 7671 recommend that electrical installations are inspected and tested every 5-10 years and if you are a landlord, you are required by law to have your electrics tested by a qualified and competent person at least every 5 years.

Additionally, problems detected early are usually easier and cheaper to fix.
