Fitting lights and plugs around a home is a fairly straight forward thing to do. However, there are real benefits in terms of comfort, energy saving, installation costs and also ergonomics for those who have home offices to properly designing and planning lighting and power.

Because our team offers both domestic and commercial electrical services, particularly with refurbishment, we have a great deal of experience in designing lighting and power to best fit the use of the property, taking into account individual preferences in the event of private refurbishments (as opposed to large developments for sale but we design for them too!).

When you are looking to rewire your home for example, we will sit down with you and take you through what you need, as well as suggest improvements based on new technology such as smart home technology and new types of lighting.

In terms of office space, we will do the same thing but in this instance, we look at what you need specifically for your business, particularly if you have a product showroom or shop. We will design lighting to best display your products and services, including anything bespoke, such as water features or mood lighting, as well as make sure that your staff have sufficient plug points and correct lighting to be able to work comfortably.

In both domestic and commercial reviews, we will also look at what energy efficient systems are available and how to reduce energy costs whilst remaining within your budget.

We can also build a design around your existing power systems to make them more energy efficient and to give you greater flexibility in terms of, for instance, a busier or repurposed workspace or a bedroom or kitchen refurbishment.
